Goffs Breeze Up Sale, Kempton

Just back this morning from the Goffs Breeze Up Sale at Kempton.

Trade was selective but solid for the nicer horses that breezed well.

Our English Channel Colt, Lot 22 sold for £33,000 to Blanford Bloodstock. We wish them every success with him.

Unfortunately our Exchange Rate Colt, Lot 77 had a sore shin prior to the sale so we decided not to travel him. He will instead be offered for sale at the Newmarket Guineas Sale on May 2 – 3, 2013.

Congrats to Chris Dwyer and all connections on the win of Tornado Force on Tuesday. Also well done and hard luck to Andrew Hollinshead and the connections of the ultra consistent Sewn Up who was second on Tuesday. Sewn Up has already won three times this year. He was sold by Gaybrook Lodge at the 2012 Newmarket Guineas Sale.

2013 Breeze Up Sales

The 2013 Breeze Up Sales are fast approaching. Our first sale is Goffs Kempton where we have a 2 Colt Draft. Lot 22 is an English Channel colt out of Gr 2 winner Raw Gold. He is a half brother to 6 winners including listed winner and Gr 3 placed Kadira. Lot 77 is a very smart Exchange Rate colt, half brother to 2 winners from 2 runners. His winning dam is a half sister to Gr 2 winner Delightful Kiss and also to Canadian Champion 2 year old Delightful Mary.

Note: Both colts have been E.B.F. Nominated since the catalogue was printed.

Following that we have a draft of 4 in Newmarket Craven sale which starts on 16th April.
